However, the more you use the furniture you will see a change in color but it does not indicate a change in durability. Teak wood is waterproof and weather resistant, but may begin to darken to a deep brown color as time goes on. You only have to clean regularly to prevent soap residue buildup.

Make sure the furniture dries thoroughly after each use, especially in areas with little air circulation.
Rinse the furniture well with fresh water after each use to remove soap residue, body oils, and chlorine.
Let it air dry after each use.
