Our reclaimed teak wood is sourced from old houses from remote villages in East Java, Indonesia, before being repurposed and crafted into new pieces. Most of them is over sixty years old and still serving high quality. Packed with history, the wood is full of character, with unique and elegant textures that can never be reproduced or imitated by newly cut wood. Reclaimed teak is wood that has lived another life. Periodic cleaning is recommended for outdoor reclaimed teak. Generally speaking, this old material is known to take on a beautiful natural patina that is a silver color. Gently cleaning the teak will not drastically affect the patina. Teak furniture will last a century if cared more properly.
