Materials & Care

Weathered Grey Teak Brushed

Weathered Brushed Teak captures the timeless, sun-faded beauty of aged wood while delivering the durability needed for outdoor living. Built from FSC-certified solid teak, each piece undergoes a kiln-drying process to ensure long-term stability in changing weather conditions. The distinct weathered look is achieved through a multi-layered finishing technique. Started with a PU (polyurethane) color coating, followed by a brushed texture and finished with a delicate glazing process. This method allows the wood to retain its natural grain patterns while developing a soft, silvery-grey tone that evokes the charm of driftwood and the patina of well-loved outdoor furniture. For best results and to preserve its look over time, we recommend occasional maintenance with teak cleaner or sealant, depending on the desired aging effect.

Our finishes may change over time, and natural wood may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features that will add character to your piece without affecting its quality or performance. Recommended care for wood furnishings may vary depending on the finishes applied to each surface.

Upon the spills, please immediately wipe off using a mild soap, water, and soft undyed cloth as needed. Dry immediately to prevent marks from forming.
Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and scratching with sharp objects. Aggressive cleaning should not be necessary.
Long-lasting protection: regular sealing helps maintain the wood's natural color and protects against weathering.
How often the treatment is needed depends on the climate and whether the furniture is placed at a sheltered position. As a general rule, teak surfaces should be cleaned and treated at least once a year.
