Materials & Care

Natural Teak Fine Finish

Celebrated for the timeless character and superior performance, Natural Teak highlights the true essence of teak wood. We start with carefully selected, mature teak log which is sourced for the rich oils, dense grain, and exceptional longevity. These are then kiln-dried to ensure maximum stability and resistance against cracking, shrinking, or warping. The result retains teak’s natural golden-brown hue, allowing the beauty of the wood’s grain to shine through. Smooth to the touch yet textural in appearance, this finish is made to age gracefully, developing a distinguished patina over time. To prolong the life and appearance of the wood, especially in varying climates, we recommend periodic application of teak sealant. This additional step helps maintain its natural beauty and enhances resistance to wear over time.

Our finishes may change over time, and natural wood may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features that will add character to your piece without affecting its quality or performance. Recommended care for wood furnishings may vary depending on the finishes applied to each surface.

Use a dry cloth to dust furniture weekly.
Use coasters under beverages to prevent marks and stains.
Upon the spills, please immediately wipe off using a mild soap, water, and soft undyed cloth as needed. Dry immediately to prevent marks from forming.
Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and scratching with sharp objects. Aggressive cleaning should not be necessary.
Avoid placing indoor furnishings in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture, as this could cause cracking or changes in finishes.
Long-lasting protection: regular sealing helps maintain the wood's natural color and protects against weathering.
How often the treatment is needed depends on the climate and whether the furniture is placed at a sheltered position. As a general rule, teak surfaces should be cleaned and treated at least once a year.

Walnut Teak Fine Finish

Crafted from premium solid teak wood sourced from FSC-certified forests, Walnut Brushed Teak offers a timeless appeal rooted in sustainability and performance. Each piece begins with mature teak logs selected for their exceptional density and grain consistency, ensuring durability and beauty that last through generations. Before finishing, the wood undergoes a kiln-drying process to stabilize its structure and reduce moisture content, minimizing the risk of warping or cracking over time. A rich walnut color coating is then applied to the teak base, enhancing its natural character with a deep brown hue that exudes warmth and sophistication. The matte brushed finish adds a smooth, tactile surface while maintaining the organic texture of real wood. This finish is ideal for indoor use, offering not only outstanding durability and resistance to wear but also a visually refined, elegant look. Fully recyclable and finished with environmentally conscious methods, Walnut Brushed Teak strikes the perfect balance between luxury and sustainability.
